We are committed to keeping our ministry simple. We will avoid offering numerous programs. We will meet weekly for worship to know Christ and exalt Him. We will also meet weekly in sermon-based small groups for spiritual growth, community, and ministry. And we will equip covenant members to live as everyday missionaries locally and globally as they LOVE Jesus, LEAD well, and LIVE the gospel. We will provide occasional equipping seminars and will be doing short-term mission trips throughout the year. But the weekly schedule will be simple: Worship on Sunday, sermon-based small groups (in homes), and daily missional living.

Our Practice:

  • Hope Filled - Jesus Christ has given us a living hope, because of this Christians should be the most hopeful people on the planet. At Lakeshore Church our desire is to manifest a living hope as we are known for what we are for not what we are against. I Peter 1:3-9
  • Grace Giving - Apart from Christ we were dead in our sins and in a hopeless state. The gospel offers us salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. As recipients of grace Lakeshore Church desires to express grace to those who are far off and in need of God’s unmerited favor and love in their life. Eph 2:8
  • Missional Living - The Gospel is hope for the hopeless, because of this Christians should be aware of and concerned for the broken, hurting, and needy. At Lakeshore Church our desire is to practice missional living as we proclaim and demonstrate the gospel in the city that care forgot.
  • Disciple Making - We take the command of Jesus to make disciples seriously, at Lakeshore Church our desire is to be a community of disciple-makers; starting in our home, extending to our neighborhood and city, and reaching to the ends of the earth. Matthew 28:19-20
